About Us
Why Iowa Inspired?
Over the years I have had many ask me where they can see my woodworking and painting projects. This site was built for this reason. This isn't my full time job, just a hobby I enjoy. I don't keep many "stock" items on hand, I prefer to build projects when I know who they will go to, I feel I'm able to make it more personal.
As for the site name, I try to use as much local materials as possible as well as project ideas inspired by Iowa. I was born and raised in Iowa City. While we did spend a few years out of state for work, we are back in Eastern Iowa close to family and friends.
Heirloom Items
I feel that the items I build/create are treated as heirloom items that will be kept and passed down for years to come.
Disclaimer - I'm not fast! Since I have a full time job, projects can take some time to complete. If there is an urgent need, I try to meet deadlines, but can't make guarantees.
